In our network, most awards come from private universities, which use tuition discounts to attract international students. Public universities offer fewer awards, and those tend to be government-funded and more competitive.
A partial scholarship is a percentage off tuition fees, not a cash payment, and it rarely covers living costs. For example, a 50% award on a programme costing 100,000 THB a year saves you 50,000 THB a year. Check whether the discount applies to every year of study or only the first.
No. A full tuition waiver removes tuition fees only, so you still pay for registration, accommodation, visas and living costs. The table above shows exactly what each award covers.
The awards listed here are for English-taught programmes at our partner universities. Some apply to any bachelor’s programme and others only to certain faculties or intakes, so check the award page or ask us whether your course qualifies.
Yes. Some awards in our network are aimed at Myanmar students, such as the ERC Institute award in Singapore worth up to 100% of tuition. Myanmar students can also apply for the general international awards in the table above.
